In this session, Dr Pat Ogden investigates movement. Movement is important because it closely relates to our mental health. Dr Ogden explores five basic developmental movements that were identified by Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen. She discusses how these five movements can support us with any issues that we may be dealing with. We discover how each one of these actions can be hyper-active or not active enough. Dr Ogden explains that although these actions are innate to us they also hold psychological meaning. As we begin to explore these five movements we can start to develop new psychological capacities.
