How to Get Started with Behavioural Change

In this practical webinar, Dr. Chris Aiken investigates how to help clients initiate behaviour change in behavioural activation therapy. He highlights common challenges, including avoidance and low motivation, that often accompany depression, and provides evidence-based strategies to overcome them. Attendees will learn how to guide clients from inaction toward meaningful, purposeful activities, fostering increased engagement, improved mood, and enhanced overall well-being. This session equips mental health professionals with actionable tools to support clients in breaking the cycle of avoidance, building momentum, and achieving lasting behavioural change, making behavioural activation therapy a more effective approach for treating depression.
