In this session, Dr. Jennifer Abel will ask how the client (actress) has done in the past with breathing strategies. She will report that it makes her anxious to do the counting and trying to breathe from her diaphragm doesn’t work. Dr. Abel will take the stress off the client by letting go of trying and observing. Then Dr. Abel will gently experiment with various things to add to mindful breathing that will lead to more comfort.
