In this session, Dr Jennifer Sweeton investigates treating depression with EMDR. She explains how depression neural networks form, examining the neuroscience research behind this. Dr Sweeton discusses the role of the ventromedial prefrontal cortex (VMPFC), and how it is connected to the default mode network and impacts on depression.
